11-01-2024:

Harvard and our facility will close for Winter Recess at 5pm Friday Dec 20th, until 9am on Thursday Jan 2nd. We post these deadlines in early October, to help with advanced planning amidst the busiest time of the year. We write these deadlines with consideration to other cores in the area, and with as much flexibility as possible.

Our core always delivers high-quality data as quickly as possible; Usually data are returned within a week. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as instrument or sample issues, etc. may cause delays. To ensure you will receive your data before Harvard and our core closes, please adhere to the deadlines below:

Non-NGS TapeStation:  Wed, Dec 18th at noon is the last time to submit for turnaround before break.

Next-Gen Library Prep: Tues Nov 12th is the last day to submit for turnaround before break. This gives us time to get through the entire process including QC, re-prepping if needed, etc. If we have extra capacity, we will work on projects that come in after Nov 12th, but the guaranteed cutoff date is Nov 12th.

Next-Gen Sequencing: Tues Dec 3rd is the last time to submit for guaranteed turnaround before break. If we have capacity and there are no sample or equipment issues, we will run sequencers up to Dec 20th, but we cannot guarantee turnaround before we close if your samples are received after Dec 3rd. This deadline will allow buffer time for any unforeseen issues to be resolved.

Sanger Sequencing:  Thursday Dec 19th by 8AM for Goldenson/C1 and 9AM for NRB, is the last time to submit for turnaround before break.
